Leland L. Greene, known to his friends as Lee, is a life-long resident of New York.  He attended and  graduated from The George Washington University in 1969 and St. John’s University School of Law in 1972.

After Law School, Lee was fortunate to obtain an appointment as a personal clerk to a Supreme Court Justice in New York and remained as an employee of the Court system for ten years serving as a Principal Law Clerk to Hon. Edward J. Greenfield (Ret.), Hon. Max Bloom (Dec.), and Hon. David Stadtmauer.

Lee left the Court system to become an associate in a law firm where he honed his skills as a litigator of complex commercial matters.   In 1992, Lee left the law firm he was then with to open his own private practice.  In the 15 years since he has had his own firm, Lee has developed systems for the prosecution of complex commercial cases and financial class actions.

Lee was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in January, 1973. He has also been admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York; and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second and Fourth Circuits; and, the United States Supreme Court.  He has also been admitted to practice, for specific cases (pro hac vice) before state Courts in Georgia, Florida, Indiana and Washington and federal courts in South Carolina, the Western District of Kentucky and the Southern District of Florida (Miami Division). He is the principal of the Law Office of Leland L. Greene located in Garden City, New York.
